BEAULIEU PARK

Since 2013, Clague have assisted developer Countryside Properties on the design and delivery of key housing areas at Zones D, E & G.

Countryside Properties have been developing their very successful new mixed-use community of 4,000 homes at Beaulieu Park, Chelmsford over several years.

This Mixed-Use development forms an urban extension to the north east of Chelmsford with its own commercial and community centres. It is set around New Hall School, formerly King Henry VIII’s Tudor palace, and its estate parkland. The Masterplan was conceived as a series of individually designed neighbourhoods that connect to the wider landscape and countryside.

On Zone D (William Porter Close) Clague provided services under RIBA Stages 0-5 and this development of some 63 homes is now fully occupied.

On Zones E & G Clague delivered services over RIBA Stages 0-3 including development of a new Masterplan Concept, and design strategies. This was followed by a detailed Planning Submission for some 265 new homes arranged around a stunning new avenue which secured Approval from Chelmsford Borough Council. These homes have since been largely completed and occupied and some illustrations of them are shown here.
