Cheryl takes on a Triathlon for The Teenage Cancer Trust
On Saturday 23rd June, Cheryl Clarke will be attempting to complete the Leeds Castle Triathlon Sprint to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. This consists of a 750m open water swim, 26km cycle and a 5km run to end the day. Cheryl states shes no athlete and because of this, it will take a lot of time to train and get to an appropriate level of physical fitness for this event.
The charity chosen for this is the Teenage Cancer Trust, who are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. They fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them. A fantastic cause.
We wish you the best of luck from everyone here at Clague.
