Hunterswood responds to the sensitive condition of an historic building whilst creating a stunning new contemporary home. It successfully weaves former laundry architectural forms and materials with contemporary detailing and construction, constrained within the historical context of the existing fabric and site.
It is truly bespoke in concept and construction, creating a dwelling that is both modest and striking. The design is sensitive to its steeply sloping site and riverside location whilst still responding to the brief to create a sustainable family home.
