Nine-storey Mixed-Use Regeneration Scheme Approved in Southwark
We are pleased to share that we have recently completed the working drawing package for a nine-storey mixed-use development in the London Borough of Southwark. The scheme continues our successful long-term working relationship with Vanquish Iconic Developments, who are a London-based developer.
Our project with Vanquish Iconic at Heaton Road sees the regeneration of a former light industrial plot, and provides vital new commercial and residential accommodation on a derelict brownfield site.
The scheme proposes two floors of commercial space over the basement and ground floors, and importantly maintains an active frontage to the street. The building rises a further seven storeys above, providing new apartments that will be finished to the highest quality.
The building is formed from cast in-situ concrete frame and floor slabs, with lightweight metal infill and a full brick external skin. Construction has commenced on-site, with the contractors adhering to current COVID-19 best working practices. The build is programmed for completion towards the end of the year.
