Proud Sponsors of ‘A Century Of Coal’

We are proud to be sponsoring the film premiere of ‘A Century of Coal’ by the award-winning film maker Peter Williams, being held at the Marlowe Theatre on the 13th-15th May 2018.

The film charts the history of the coalfield in Kent, taking on board real life stories from the miners, their owners and their families. This has been created to support a local project, including a museum, which will form a permanent record of the miners and their history over their years in Kent. This will show a huge historical part of Kent that many, in recent years, never knew existed.

'A Century of Coal' won best Documentary Award at the Mindfield Film Festival in Alburquerque, USA and the Snowdance Festival in Los Angeles, further confirming that this is a film not to be missed.
