Having completed the RIBA Stage 4 Technical Design, It was good to visit site at The Priory School in Hitchin where T&B Contractors are making good progress with the construction of the new sixth form centre.

Once complete the new block will provide a large new common room, four classrooms, department offices and ancillary spaces.

At the time of our last site visit the piing works had only just commenced, so it was good to see how the building was coming together with the steel frame, concrete floors, SFS waling, windows complete and the roofing well underway the building is almost watertight.   We look forward to the external cladding commencing and the installation of the internal partitions.
