The sensitive renovation and extensions play on the contrast between light and dark, and injects a new lease of life into what was once an underutilised and poorly lit space.

The design makes best use of the existing structure, whilst making minimal changes for the greatest benefit. The North Elevation which forms the rear to the property remains largely unchanged to preserve the original character of the building. The secondary spaces of this glass enclosure provide contrasting environments, providing the occupant with a variety of living spaces and emphasising the openness of the main glazed living space.
