BA (Hons) BArch (Hons) RIBA

On joining Clague Clare worked in the conservation department, which fostered her passion for historic buildings and detailed high quality design. It also developed her enquiring approach to finding architectural solutions to challenging projects. Following a period working on large scale residental, hospitality and commercial interior design projects in Guernsey, Channel Islands, Clare returned to Clague and was appointed a partner in 2007.

She is experienced in working closely with clients to deliver their projects from concept design through to completion on site.

Clare led the team delivering Clague’s architectural and interior services on the £45 million redevelopment of the Grade I Listed Luton Hoo Country Estate, which has been transformed into the five star Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa. Clare provided architectural and interior design solutions and worked closely with the client’s representative and operations team as well as the main contractor.

Clare oversees our Harpenden office and is currently involved in delivering a wide range of projects from private residential developments to larger commercial commissions. These include the redevelopment of the Grade II listed RAF Bentley Priory site in Stanmore into an exclusive residential community, the masterplanning of the Childwickbury Stud Estate, bespoke one off private residential commissions and exclusive bespoke multiple unit residential developments for a range of local developers, as well as the Aldwickbury Park Golf Club, Breathing Space Spa and the Luton Hoo Golf and Leisure Club facilities.
