LUTON HOO ESTATE

This substantial Grade I listed mansion contains over 400 rooms and is set in 1,000 acres of exceptional Capability Brown landscape

Originally constructed in 1760 to a Robert Adam design, the house was subsequently altered by the architects Mewes and Davis in the Edwardian era.

Clague have provided ongoing architectural and heritage consultancy services to the owners of Luton Hoo for more than 25 years commencing during the major £60m redevelopment of the estate to form Luton Hoo Hotel Golf and Spa in 2007.

There are few hotels in the world with the incredible heritage, grandeur & elegance of Luton Hoo Estate Hotel, Golf & Spa

Under new ownership now, a fresh master plan has been prepared to take the Estate into its next era.  Prior to taking on the Fairmont flag, Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa will undergo a multi-million-pound redevelopment, bringing the hotel to new levels of luxury, unparalleled in the area.

Designs for a championship quality  golf course and new club house and associated golfing facilities are at the centre of the proposals which have aspirations to attract the most prestigious golf events including it is hope the Ryder Cup.

Refurbishment of the Mansion and the Adams stable complex will provide world class spa facilities and a variety of accommodation offerings, while works within the grounds look to restore elements of Capability Browns original intentions  for how  the landscape is accessed by all visitors to it.
