What is Wellbeing Architecture and Masterplanning?

Wellbeing architecture focuses on designing spaces that promote physical, mental and emotional health. This includes creating environments that enhance comfort, reduce stress, improve air quality and encourage positive social interactions. Wellbeing architecture can be applied across a range of settings, from healthcare facilities and wellness centres to office buildings and residential developments. Wellbeing masterplanning takes a broader approach, focusing on the long-term development of communities designed with health and wellbeing at their core. It considers factors like green spaces, accessibility, natural light and community integration to create environments that support the overall well-being of residents, workers and visitors.

Our Wellbeing Architecture and masterplanning process

We begin by understanding your specific wellbeing goals, site context and needs. From there, we develop tailored solutions that prioritise natural light, air quality, accessibility and sustainable materials. We guide you through every stage, starting with conceptual design, followed by detailed planning, technical specifications and securing the necessary approvals. During construction, we maintain careful oversight to ensure that every element aligns with wellbeing principles. Ultimately, our process ensures that the spaces we create support physical, emotional, and mental health, fostering environments where people can thrive.

Planning, Surveying & Technical Detailing in Wellbeing Projects

At Clague, we offer support throughout every stage of a wellbeing-focused project. We manage planning and applications, ensuring compliance with local regulations and aligning designs with wellness goals, securing the necessary approvals for each development.

Our surveying services assess site conditions and identify opportunities to enhance the environment for wellbeing, ensuring that designs optimise light, space and natural elements.

In the technical detailing and specifications phase, we provide precise, build-ready documentation that addresses environmental design, sustainability, accessibility and safety, ensuring that the final outcome supports a healthy, balanced environment while meeting all regulatory requirements.
