ASHDOWN PARK

Ashdown Park Hotel and Country Club in Forest Row, East Sussex is dramatically situated in the heart of the ancient Ashdown Forest within the High Weald AONB

Originally a country mansion, the present house dates primarily to the 1860’s in the Gothic Revival style and is now Grade 2 Listed. The building later became the Convent of Notre Dame, when it was considerably enlarged.

Clague have provided ongoing architectural and heritage consultancy services to the owners Elite Hotels group for many years

Purchased by our clients the Elite Hotels group in 1993 who embarked upon a major redevelopment and restoration of the buildings & estate, reopening as a Hotel with Golf Course, Country Club & Conference facility.   Recent works have included the creation of a new Country Club Brasserie, a new gym,  studio, and relaxation area, with the swimming pool and changing rooms being remodelled.
