TYLNEY HALL

Grade 2* Listed, and designed in the Tudor Revival style in a warm red brick with Bath stone dressings and some brick diapering the architecture is rich with many references to earlier architectural styles

Located in Hook, Hampshire and set amidst beautiful gardens designed by Gertrude Jekyll including lakes and stately specimen trees and replacing an earlier house on the site, the present Tylney Hall dates to 1879 with significant later additions and alterations from 1899-1904 including an elegant orangery.

The interior spaces are dominated by the wonderful Great Hall partially panelled in Italian Walnut with a fine stone fireplace and an Italian ceiling brought in sections from the Grimani Palace in Venice.
