PARSONAGE NEAR CANTERBURY

The Parsonage sits within a very picturesque village near Canterbury. It is Grade 2 Listed and originally late 17th century with further alterations form the late 19th century. Red brick below a slate roof, extended with brown brick with blue headers in diaper pattern.

Clague Architects were appointed by the owner of The Parsonage to progress Feasibility Studies, Listed Building Consent Applications and detailed design and specifications for a significant internal re-ordering of the house to improve the flow of spaces in a manner that would celebrate the history and fabric of the house and better meet the clients requirements.

Our work on the house which is shown here, was in collaboration with the wonderful Interior Designer Charlotte Crossland who has used colour, pattern, texture & furniture to achieve a varied and distinctive character for the different spaces in the historic home.
